For aircraft maintenance technicians and inspectors
Shared EWIS theory for target groups 1 and 2
Enhancing performance and safety in critical environments. This self-paced online course is for aircraft maintenance technicians and inspectors who need the shared theory of EASA and FAA target groups 1 and 2.
Target Group 1 is qualified staff who perform EWIS maintenance. Target Group 2 is qualified staff who perform EWIS inspections. One course covers the union of their theory objectives.
Who this course is for
Target Group 1
Qualified staff who perform electrical wiring interconnection system maintenance.
Target Group 2
Qualified staff who perform electrical wiring interconnection system inspections.
Why choose this course?
Study the theory both target groups share, on your own schedule, without taking technicians off the aeroplane for a classroom day.
Self-paced flexibility
Work through the six modules when it suits the hangar. There is no fixed start date.
One course, both groups
Technicians and inspectors study the same theory programme, covering the union of target group 1 and 2 objectives.

What this package is, and is not
The lessons follow the published syllabi in EASA AMC 20-22 and FAA AC 120-94. This package is not itself an authority-approved training programme. It is not approved by the UK CAA, EASA, or the FAA.
It does not replace the aircraft maintenance manual, the standard wiring practices, or the wiring diagram manual. Where a number matters on the aeroplane, the aircraft maintenance data states it.
