This nationally recognised regulated qualification is suitable for those deignated as first aiders in low risk work places. It meets the requirements of the HSE. It provides training for a wide range of scenarios and by the end of this course you will have the knowledge, ability and confidence to administer First Aid in the event of a workplace accident or sudden illness. For higher risk environments the Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work course (3 days) is appropraite to the required level of First Aid training.

This one day course provides on a core set of emergency lifesaving skills that can be applied both in and outside of the work place. The course is delivered by an experienced paramedic, who will demonstrate practical skills and allow time for hands on practice. The course also covers your responsibilities as a first aider. What to do at the scene, what information to give to the emergency services and how to report following an accident.

  • Minor and severe bleeding
  • Role of the first aider
