Quality Management in an Aviation Environment

This practical 2 day course enables the participant to develop and implement a Quality Management System (QMS), with the knowledge and confidence to audit, review and improve safety and efficiency.

The training will explore the basic principles of Quality Management in aviation, the regulatory requirements for Quality Management and Auditing, and the principles of how to build, review and assess a QMS.

Course participants will understand the role of a QMS and its application within their organisation, the regulatory requirements, responsibilities of Quality and Accountable Managers and the implementation of effective corrective actions.

The course considers the relationship between Quality & Safety Management systems.

Participants will also develop an increased understanding of non-regulatory requirements, and the ability to identify the differences and relationships between quality and safety.

In addition, course delegates will achieve a greater understanding of auditing techniques and gain the tools required in order to facilitate an effective auditing process to support the achievement of regulatory, operational and business objectives.
